Igboogã is a Brazilian Forest Psytrance project formed by Diogo Bone, also known as DJ Bone and Mangroove, and Ilarí Papá, from Reborn Soul and Ôrumm. The name Igboogã comes from Yoruba culture, where Igbo means forest and Ogã refers to men who activate energies through percussion instruments in rituals. This choice reflects the duo’s proposal to connect psychedelic electronic music with ancestral and spiritual elements of Brazilian culture.

Igboogã’s sound is defined by dense atmospheres, organic textures, and a strong influence of shamanic rituals. The project has released tracks and EPs on several international labels, including The Cure from Israel, Visionary Shamanics from the United Kingdom, Grimm Records from Brazil, GloOm Music from Spain, and Ovnimoon Records from Mexico. Notable releases include the Jungle Creatures EP and the tracks The Frog’s Leap, Piranha’s Last Bite, and Cat Wisdom.
